In early 2024, I lost my job. In an effort to tighten my belt, I eliminated as many unnecessary expenses as I could. This included my storage unit and the 14 long boxes of comics contained therein. You see, I’ve been collecting comics since I was a kid.

I couldn’t very well have these boxes taking up real estate in my garage, and to be honest, I hadn’t even opened these boxes in years.

I started listing my comics on eBay. I found hidden gems and legitimate high value collectables. But that’s not what this post is about.
